Art Colouring Book

 L.I: To experiment with colours.

This Morning we started the day with one of this years Summer Learning Journey activities. The purpose of this task was to experiment with different colours from the original painting palette by using pop colours. This allowed us to recolour famous paintings or images of landmarks around the world. The painting that I chose to repaint with my own colours was a woman combing her hair. This painting was made by Goyō Hashiguchi. I enjoyed this activity because I got to be creative.

Cityscape of Sydney Australia

L.I To write a description of my cityscape using prepositions.

On the right side of my cityscape you can see the Sydney Harbour bridge. Not many people know in Sydney Koala’s they have cousins called Drop Bears that look similar to Koala but Drop Bears are more dangerous than Koalas. The tallest Shopping mall in Sydney is the Chifley tower. Sydney is the closest Country to New Zealand. The beautiful Country of Sydney has many tall buildings that stand beside each other. Sydney’s most prominent building is the Sydney tower, the tallest building in Sydney and also the Opera house. Sydney harbour bridge is like New Zealand but the sydney harbour bridge is bigger. We used warm or cool colours for our cityscape to be either on a warm day or cool day, a sun rise or sun set.
