HomeTown

Image result for Auckland
L.I To describe the hometown I live in.
For this activity we had to talk about what is special about our home town. My home town is Tamaki Makourau in English that means Auckland. The first thing I like about my hometown is that you can get a good view from the sky tower. The second thing I like about the home town I live in is that we have beaches so we can swim on a hot day. The last thing I like about my hometown is the restaurants.

  1. Hey there Karlos, my name is Billy and I am from the Summer Learning Journey Programme. It's wonderful to see that you've already started completing activities. I hope you've had a great Christmas and stay safe over new years.

My hometown is Auckland as well but I am currently living in London, England. I often miss home, especially now that summer has arrived and I am freezing over here.

Have you been up the Sky Tower before? The views are incredible, especially on a clear, sunny day.

What beaches do you like to go swimming at?

    Thanks, Billy.

You made a great start on the Summer Learning Journey. It's great that you've explained why your hometown is special. My hometown is also New Zealand. It's good that you added a photo. Have you ever bungee jumped from the Sky Tower?
