Sky tower trip

LI learn about the sky tower.
This week we went on a trip to the sky tower to see how it was built. The sky tower was built in 1997 it was made of concrete, steel, metal and some glass. The staff working there took us in the elevator to the top floor which was floor 51 we got given a paper and a pencil which we had to write in the boxes with arrows pointing at building and we had to go find that building and write the name of it. After that we walked down the stairs to floor 45 that floor was the refuge level this level was were the staff would take the people to safety when there is a fire on the sky deck which was floor 51. There were no windows because there were steel surrounding it so the fire men could cut through the steel or come running up the stairs. There is 3 refuge levels 44, 45 and 46. The foundation of the sky tower was 15. The sky tower is as tall as 6,000 elephants which is the same as 324 m. One of the places on the paper was the Auckland harbor bridge.
