My trip around the world was very tiring and the country that I found was New Zealand I got to New Zealand in a waka. It took me 4 week's to get to New Zealand. When I got to new Zealand Maori people were eating cat eyes, limpet's, pipi's and seafood.
Today for activity 2 we had to write a letter about finding a new country.

I wonder what made you think that Maori people were eating cat eyes? I don't know if there were many cats in New Zealand back then. Perhaps you could have a look and see what you can find out! Have a think about who you wrote the letter to and what they would want to know about New Zealand. You could also tell them how you feel about moving to New Zealand. Were you nervous or excited? I think that if I moved to another country I would be both!
