Fact 2: Maui wanted to go fishing but his brother's said no but then Maui came up with a plan he would make his own fishing line and hide in the hull of his brother's canoe.
Fact 3: Maui and his brother's grandmother told Maui and his brother's to look after her fish and and she would bring the people and the brother's agreed Maui went to the hawaiki ad as soon Maui left the brother's they were chopping the fish.
Today I did a activity on the summer learning journey. For this activity we had to read the story of Maui and the giant fish and then we had to write three fact's about this story.

Hi Karlos,
ReplyDeleteMy name's Ruby and I am excited to be blogging with you this summer!
You have done a great job, these are all good facts. I really like how you told us why Maui's brothers didn't want him to go fishing with them. They were a bit mean, weren't they! You've also done a great job of laying out your facts, I can clearly see each one so well done.
I wonder what happened once Maui hid in his brothers canoe. Did they find him in the end?
Do you know any other stories about Maui? There is a really good one about Maui and the Sun. If you want to read this story, here is the link:

I look forward to reading more of your blog.
Cheers,
Ruby.
Greetings Karlos
