This week for tech was our last session for our rotation and this term at Tamaki College. Mrs Ferguson challenged us to code the Mbot to go around a race track. To do this we needed the Mbot to sense the Black line to follow. If the Mbot went off the black line the Mbot would go backwards and try to find the black line to keep on going. At the end we had a competition and my time was 53.84 seconds the fastest time was 31.32 seconds. This was challenging but fun to do because it was fun to test our Mbot and see the result.
I am a Year 8 student at Panmure Bridge School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Learning Space 2 and my teacher is Mrs Anderson.

Kiwi Can Reflection (Term 1/ Week 7)
This week for kiwi Can we were learning about role models. Role models are people who inspire you and someone you can look up to. We started off with our energizer called hammer. It was related to the topic because we were trying to work together and trying to listen. Next we talked about who role models are in our lives and how they are role models. Most people chose their mum. After we talked about who inspires you in your family. Then we played our activity called picture it. It was related to the topic because it was about working together as a team to make the picture right. Lastly we played a GKQ (General Knowledge Questions) game called end of the road. It was girls vs boys. The goal was to try to answer the question. When the last person gets out, their team loses. It was fun today at Kiwi Can.
