This week for Kiwi Can we still have the same topic and theme. The energizer we did was called Fruit Salad in this game this there are four commands the first one was Apple which was to move your hips to the left, Pear is to move you hips to the right, Watermelon was to move your bottom backward and banana was to move your bottom forward.
Then we talked about active listening. Our Catchphrase is Kiwi Can Says Talk To Me So You Can See Someone With Positivity. We played our activity it was called negative positive role-play. In this game Mrs Paige gave us a paper that we had to read make a negative response to it and after that we had to have a positive ending. When we finished the activity we had to get into a circle and and we played GKQ (general knowledge question) six people had to stand up and answer a question. At the end the winners of each round.

CARE badge task
This week for one of my care awards we had to show how to make food I chose to make tacos with my Mum and Nan. We made this dish with pita bread we added mince, tomatoes, cheese and lettuce stripes that I cut. I had fun doing this task I ate this for my dinner and it was yum.

Kiwi Can
This week for Kiwi Can we had a new topic and theme, The theme is Positive communication and the topic is Positive relationship. The teachers were Miss Paige and Mr Alipathi the energizer we did was called remote control in this game there are five commands the first command is pause, the second command is play, the third command is stop fourth is fast foward the forth one is rewind and the last one is fast forward.

Kiwisport
This week for Kiwisport LS2 were playing a game sort of like Ki O Rahi the game is easy to play there are two teams Ke amo and Taniwha on team was on the green cones and they had the ball and they had to throw the ball at the rock which was a bin. The score was 4 to 3 Ke amo had to run with the ball and touch the po with the ball the po is the yellow poles.

Te Tiriti O Te Waitangi
This week for reading we had to get into a group of four but me and Giovanni were the only people so we had to go into a group of two. The task we had to read a text about the treaty of waitangi after we had read the book we had to make three copies of a document we had to write twenty words and we had to choose ix important words, after that we had to write a summary.
Summer learning Journey assembely
This week for two Visitors from the SLJ-Summer Learning Journey Sophie, Hazzle and Eveleyn from NZ Sailing trust. They came to our assembly to give us prizes and a if we participated we would get a participating certificate. Alex came first out of all the manaiakalani schools and he got a bag of stuff and a Ipad mini.

Kiwi sport
This week for Kiwi sport we learnt about a traditional game called Ki O Rahi. Mr Ogilvie and the
coach came in the class and we watched a video to learn about Rahi trying to find his wife. While Rahi
was traveling to look for his wife some bad things happened to Rahi. The game Ki O Rahi was created

Digital sketch note
This for writing we had to make a digital sketch note and copy what we did on our paper. We worked
in partners my partner was Matthew. On our sketch note we had to explain about the structure and
language features of a Explanation.The reason why we learnt this is because we have a writing test
soon and we have to write an explanation for it.

E-ako
This week we went on a site called E-ako the site is a maths site were you can do addition, multiplication, equations, patterns, geometry, Measurement, Probability and statistics, number facts and problem solving. I thought this task was easy to do. I did multiplication and on addition, we had to do this task for twenty minutes to finish as much questions in the twenty miuntes. This task was really fun.

This week for leadership week we all got into our teams and created a DLO. In our DLO we all have participated and explained What is a leader, What does a leader do and What is being a good leader? C.A.R.E Values
This week for leadership week we have been split into groups. Each group was given a piece of paper asking questions about what Confidence, Attitude, Respect and excellence and innovation looks like and means. We then used a presentation to add onto our answers and also added in our photos we took that shows what each care value looks like.
