The second fact was New Zealanders love cars with 2.5 million cars for 4 million people making them one of the countries to have the highest car ownership rate in the world. The last fact that i chose was Dairy farmers produce a whopping 100 lg of butter and 65 kg of cheese each year for each person living in New Zealand.
Kiwi Can
This was the final week and we had Mrs Piho. For kiwi can we were recapping on what we did throughout the term learning about the new topic which is respect in community, school and the environment. After that we played the games that we chose they were 10 second tag, Invisible touch and Octopus. We played these games so we could decide what games we wanted to play.
The first game that we played was ten second tag in this game Mrs Piho would say someone has either 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 or 10 and she would also point at a person because she didn't know our names. The next game we played was invisible touch in this game there is two teams and Mr Wong calls out a number and that number of people from the front of each line run around the basket ball hoop and then Mr Wong would have to say someones name and that person would have the invisible ball, And if someone tags the person with invisible ball now has the ball but the person who had the ball previously can tag that person back.
The last game we played was octopus.

We had to say to each other what to do my partner started first and I told him to move back forward then back again then forward again after that we did combos one of them was Jab,Cross,Right hook, left hook, Left up a cut and right uppercut. The combos we had to do were pretty Confusing to remember.

If your group had the same as another team you would get 5 points and you have your own and word you get 10 points. than you would have to write one word for each box starting with the letter that has been called out.
It was basically the end of the day we had to get into our point, we all had to agree on each other by putting our hands up using our fingers to show how much points we should get for each station of the point system but the max of points we could get was 5 not 6 or ten. So then the point's were settled, the points were 5, 5, 5, 4 and 4, our total points were 23.

Maori
This week for Maori we had Whaea Odie. First she read a story called Remember That November. This story was about a school speech. The children think that Andy will win the speech contest. In Andy's speech it was about Guy Fawkes. Guy Fawkes was a man who attempted to explode the king's castle using gunpowder. In the speech contest Aroha stands up who wore a white feather on her hair. Aroha tells a story about the village Parihaka. Once we listened to the story we had to go on google maps and find Parihaka. Once we found Parihaka on google maps we had to mark it on the Sheet that we were given. Parihaka is in Taranaki.

This week for kiwi sport we had our first lesson with Pax. First Pax taught us three of the commandments which was Respect, Discipline & Safety. For respect we had to say I will respect my coach, equipment and peers. For discipline we had to say I will show up in every kiwi sport and I will give my 100%. Lastly for Safety we had to say I will not harm others and I will practise boxing with safety. If we broke one of the rules we had to do one burpee for the first week, if we break it again we have to do two burpees, it goes on and on. If we did the boxing skills that we learnt outside of the hall we will have to sit in the corner.
After that we did a warm up. We played a game called knee tag. For knee tag we had to try and tag each others knees. Everyone was in. I didn't get tagged by the knee because I defended myself from other people tagging me Once we did the warm up, we had to wear boxing gloves under 90 seconds. The boxing gloves were hard to wear.
Some of us didn't wear the boxing gloves under 90 seconds, so we all had to do a burpee. After the burpee we got into partners. My partner was Giovanni. After that we learnt the rock. For the rock we had to lift up our right leg, move it back and place it down. We also had to bend our knees and we had to put the boxing gloves on our face, but under our eyes. Then one of us had to push the other person who was in the rock. We did that to see if we would fall.
Once we did that we learnt the jab. For the jab we had to get into our rock position. Then we had to punch straight with our left arm, while our right arm was under our eye to keep us safe from a punch.

These are the main four that caused ww1 (World war one). We had to add information about each topic, we had to get the information from a DLO (digital learning object), we had to find out which text was the right information for the right topic. I also worked with my friend Chris to do this. After the information and putting them with the right topic, we then had to add in what was the immediate cause.

LI: to analyse a story for its conflict and resolution.
This week for Reading we did the same thing as last time, but read a different story which was a true story. We had to write the two sides and write what both of their ideals were. Then we had to write what the conflict was. Then we had to write the parts that lead up to the resolution of the story. The story we read was called Painted Hoe which told us about Wakas. The connection that I have with this story is Sparks because in painted hoe the Maori and the Europeans they fight over the land and in sparks Harley and Dillon fight over the Scooter.

This week for Reading we read a story and had to fin out the Conflict and Resolution. Conflict is a fight/disagreement/argument between people or a group. A resolution is entirely fixing the problem or not, or changing the conflict to something else. We read a book called Sparks and it was full of Conflicts and we had to analyse to see if they were conflicts, and had to find the resolution. This story is similar to sponge bob square pants because Mr crabs wants something and Plankton wants to do have the krabby patty formula.

I: to learn more about Maori
This week for Maori the first thing we did was read a story about the beginning of earths creation. It was about the earth mother and the sky father being together with no light, but the sons of earth and the sky wanted to be free so the sons separated them. Then there was a stream of light flowing everywhere. Later the sons became gods. Tu became god of man and war, Tangaroa became god of the sea, Tawhirimatea god of wind and storm, Haumia became god of cultivated food and the wild, and lastly Rongo became god of peace and agriculture. After that we watched a video explaining the story of the beginning in Sand Art.

Kiwi Can
This week was the first week of the term and our first lesson on Kiwi Can. Mrs Lily wasn't there because she is having a baby boy in December. We had a new leader and her name was Mrs Paige. Then we also have a new theme and topic. The theme is Respect and the topic is For our school.
The energizer for kiwi can is No Rules Or Rules. So the game was tag but with no rules. So everyone could tag each other. It was really exhausting and boring because you wouldn't get out. The next round was with rules the first taggers were Mr Matt and Mrs Paige. It was a lot more fun and fair.
After the energizer we talked about Values our school values is CARE confidence, Attitude, respect and excellence and innovation. Values means the standards and behaviour in the life you are living. My value is taking responsibility. I picked responsibility because I need to be responsible for my own doings.
When we finished doing that we got into our activity. This activity was really fun it is called role play in this game there are two new students and the other students have shared lunch but the two new students didn't bring any lunch I was one of the new students and the person was Akuhata. Our group name was The Hollow heads.
In our group was Giovanni, Akuhata, Sione T, Acien and Jordan.

Kiwi Can
L.I: learn about all skills we have done and use those things we have learn't.
This week for kiwi can it was fun week. For fun week we got to choose 2 games to play. We did a vote on games we wanted to play. The 2 games that were chosen were Octopus and invisible rugby. We got to play octopus first. To play octopus you need to have 2 taggers. Also you need a bunch of people to be in a line at the end of a court. Then the taggers have to say (RUN IF YOU ARE WEARING SHOES) Something like that. Who ever has shoes etc they have to run. Once we did that we got on the feild to play invisible rugby. To play invisible rugby you need to split up into a group of 2 or as many as you want. Someone was going to have to call out a number and what ever number that has been called the amount of people have to run. Then someone will have the ball. Who ever has the ball they have to run to their goal. If someone from the other team tags the person with the ball then they have the ball. The only thing is that you can't tag the same person back.

Swimming
LI: To learn how to swim.
This week for swimming we had to go our instructor. First we got into the pool. Then we swam to the other side using the boards. We did this two times. After we swam using the boards, we did the same thing. This time when we swam on our fronts and we had to breathe, we had to turn around on our backs and swim. We did this this a couple times.
Once we did that we did the same thing again, but we couldn't use our boards. Once we did that we had to catch toys. The toys had to sink first, then we could go down and catch it. We did that two times. After that we did a horse race. For the horse race we had to get into partners. my partner was Jordan.
After that we got a pool noodle for the both of us. One of us had to curve the pool noodle and had to put our arms over it. The other person had to hold the end of the pool noodle with our hands. The person in the front had to run and the person at the back had to kick their legs to try and win. We came last but we didn't care because it was just a game.

Keyboarding
LI: To not look at the key board wile typing.
For daily six this week i decided to do key boarding. First we had to type in all the words that they have put up without looking at the keyboard. When we finished one we would have to press the space button and write the next word. Before this you have to read the instructions to play. If you typed in the wrong letter it would turn red and you would have to push that letter again then go to the next letter.
