This week for reading, we had to do an activity about the event that occurred a few years ago, Duck Overboard. Duck Overboard is about a cargo ship that was hit by a storm.We had to watch a video, read a text, and read a news report about the rubber ducks, and then put the information into a main idea summary frame.

L.I What is Persuasion.

This week for writing This week for writing, we've been learning about persuasive writing.I included 20 words, and decided the image was the shape of a brain, the colour of the brain is red. Our activity was to make a word art image, that included words that relate to persuading.

T Chart

L.I: Identify actions and factors that can stop a team from working together.
Our focus for inquiry is what makes a good team.One of the game Silly bones in Silly bones you have to run around, when a number, and body part is called, get into a group of that number, and connect that body part.The second game was Cars Get a partner, one person doesn't move without instructions, other person taps their partners shoulder to tell them where to go.Try not to make your partner crash into a wall.our last game is where you get into a circle, get an omnikin ball, Omnikin balls are very big balls filled with air.get the Omnikin ball around the circle as many times as possible with only using your legs.

Kiwi Can

 Today we done Kiwi can we play two different games.The first game was emotion band.In emotion band there are four groups MR malo whispered to the group and emotion then we had to act it out with saying nothing.tThe other groups have to guess the emotion that they are acting out.The second game was emotional statue.In emotional statue we had to get into pairs and one of the pairs had to stand still and the other partner has to make grab the persons hands and if the emotion is sad you have to put his or her hands over his or her eyes.

Combined Weight

 L.I to measure our weight using scales.I worked with Peter,Joseph,Te pounamu we meausred our weight on a scale.My weight was 33.8,Te pounamus weight was 46.8,Josephs weight was 45.7 and peters weight was 42.9.

I learnt to read two new articles and write things that happened in the lions tour.I learnt by going on a site called kiwi kids news and I read two articles writing things that happened.
